The camp schedule is structured but at the same
time it’s fun. Classroom size is limited to six (6)
campers in order to facilitate proper chess learning.
Students will be grouped by age and ability. We will
make every effort to keep friends together; however,
we cannot guarantee this until after the first day’s
observation.
Our main focus is to present the chess material in a
fun, exhilarating and entertaining way. All necessary
equipment is provided. There are no expectations
placed upon the campers, and the atmosphere is
very relaxed. A typical day will include instruction,
activities and of course an opportunity to try their
new skills with an opponent.
For AM and PM campers, the three (3) hour day
consists of two separate classroom lessons: 30
minutes instruction/30 minutes of supervised play.
Between lessons there will be an hour long break
for practice and snack. Snacks and drinks will be
provided. Parents should contact the Academy to
find out which programs are available.
On the final day, an informal graduation ceremony
will be held. Following a short presentation and Q &
A session, each camper will be called forward to
receive a certificate of achievement and a
membership card good for six months to the All the
King's Men Chess Club.

Join us each Tuesday on the 2nd day of camp for our very
popular parent-only class. Parents who have never
played chess will learn the basic rules and opening
tactics. For parents who know about chess, opening
principles and strategies will be discussed.
When: Tuesdays 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm
REGISTRATION OPTIONS

| All Campers $35 Registration fees guarantee a spot for your camper and are NOT refundable. Think Like a King Home Edition interactive software will be given to each household and is included in the registration fee. It's yours to keep.
